Maine Nonprofit Wage & Employment Report Published

These numbers, which are broken down regionally and by sector, were recently published in a comprehensive study of Maine nonprofit employment and wages. They clearly identify the significant economic impact of the Maine nonprofit sector.

This report, which is the result of a collaborative effort between the Johns Hopkins Nonprofit Employment Data Project, The Unity Foundation, The Maine Community Foundation, Dead River Company and the Maine Association of Nonprofits, is the first of its kind, and will help the public, legislators, the business community, funders, and Maine nonprofits better understand the nonprofit sector's cumulative impact on the state's economy.
